What do u do when ur scared and ur trying to sleep?!


Question: What do u do when ur scared and ur trying to sleep!?
Answers:
I like listening to guided meditations to keep my mind busy (no scary thoughts) and relax at the same time or turn on the light to the small fish tank I put next to my bed just for this and watch them!. Sweet dreams!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

The first thing I do is turn on the light!. Then I check the doors and windows and make sure the house is secure!. Then I start to tell myself the truth that I am fine, that the house is secure, and that the boogie man is not real!. I pray and ask God to give me peace and take away the anxiety!. I also follow some good advice someone once gave me for dealing with anxiety: "If you don't feel normal, do something normal!." Even something as simple as brushing my teeth is a good distraction and it can give enough time to start to think rationally!. Then if all else fails, maybe do something like go to yahoo answers and get your mind on something else, like helping someone else with what they are struggling with (which is what I am doing for the first time right now)!. For whatever it's worth, it works for me!. Hope you eventually get a good night's sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If psychological prayer is better
If normally sleeps come very late take light cookies and milk and or soft roaster grains and there are alot pre sleep snacks you may take
- Or you may try to engage your mind in counting something or numbers fron 1 up may be in a foreign language you may know!.
- If problem persist check a doctor near you!.

I would always put on some headphones and listen to some soft music!. It's distracting enough to fight the creeps, but quiet enough to help you drift off into sleep!.

Also, if you REALLY think praying actually does anything, there's something seriously wrong with you!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I read Philippians 4:8 It is a proven fact that one cannot think of something bad and something good at the same time!.

If what is scaring you is immediate physical danger that is a different story!. You need to listen to yourself and get out of there!. But, if it's just stuff left over from a horror show you watched, then read!.!.!.
