Answers:
The therapist is giving you the opportunity to set the agenda and say whatever comes to your mind!. He/she is trained to allow for silence, as sometimes the client is simply thinking of something to say or thinking over something that was said!. I have a suggestion!. The next time there is a silence, you could talk about the silence itself!. You can say something like you did here, that when there is silence in the therapy it makes you a little uncomfortable and you don't know what to say!. You could suggest that maybe you could work with the therapist in a different way, with the therapist prompting you with questions when you get stuck!. As a therapist myself I know I would welcome the opportunity to talk about that issue too!. Good luck with your work in therapy and in life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah!.!. But he was rude, he didn't actually help me, he made me feel worse! He just kept looking around the room and sighing like he didn't want to be there!. While i was sat crying my eyes out!.!. I think he was in the wrong job!.

Edit: If it was only the first time, don't worry! Just say whatever comes to mind, whatever is bothering you etc :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
