Babies born to mothers who are addicted to heroine or crack go thorough horrible withdrawal symptoms!. The become addicted while still in the womb having in essence done all the drugs the mom did but when they are born they have to go through withdrawals just like an adult addict who quits using!. Their body is still chemically addicted to the drug in their bloodstream, regardless of whether they intended to end up that way!.
