Do I have Fragile X??????!
Question: Do I have Fragile X!?!?!?!?!?!?
im scared that i have it!. i stutter, and my ears protrude!. However, my dad said that he had a stutter and he also has protruded ears!. i get good grades on tests but im scared!. could it just be my imagination or do i have it!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

I looked at your profile, but couldn't tell if you are a boy or a girl!.
If you're a boy, there's no chance you have Fragile X!. Men have only a single X chromosome, and if you had fragile X you would be severely affected and not even able to visit this site and ask the question!.
If you're a boy, you also can't have inherited it from your dad, because men can't pass it to their sons!.
If you're a girl, there is a chance you have one fragile X gene, but again, that you're here writing this would indicate that you are not severely mentally disabled!. If you're not severely affected, it doesn't really matter, does it!?
There are some links under the wiki article to sites about fragile X if you want more information!. I feel pretty confident in saying that you're just jumping at shadows, though!.

never heard of it,sounds like a condition doctors dreamed up to scare people and put them on meds!.you can work on your stutter,a lot of very intelligent people had a stuttering problem and fixed it!.google stuttering and start helping your self!.
you can cover your ears with hair if they bother you that much and later on have surgery to correct the problem!.

I would think it unlikely if those are your only 'symtoms'!. Yes, many with FX do have prominent ears, but so do lots of people without FX!. You can read more at www!.fragileX!.org and if you continue to be concerned, ask your doctor about it!. Do you have any family members with FX!? Www@Answer-Health@Com
