Question: Does anyone know of a good counsellor in essex!?
I am looking for a counsellor in my area (Westcliff on Sea) in order to deal with panic attacks and irrational fear!. I do not want to book with just anyone so was hoping I may find someone in here who knows or can recommend a place!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cognitive behaviour therapy or better still Rational Emotive Behaviour therapy deal with those very well!.
You might also google UKCP (uk council of psychotherapists) for there website that will have registered and qualified counsellors in your area!. I'll find the link myself and put it here later!.

When I had come out of the Priory I used the following firm for depression and saw David Shepherd (think his first name was David while ago now:-

The firm is actually a Prittlewell just around the corner from Roots Hall!.
I found Mr!. Shepherd very relaxed and friendly, and he is very well qualified!. I didn't have that many sessions with him because there was an overlap with what he covered and my support worker, but he knew his stuff!.
