Do I need a break. Is this just stress?!

Question: Do I need a break!. Is this just stress!?
I recently finished about 6 years of study and finished a diploma and a degree!. It exhausted me to the point that I would get nervous and emotional and forget little things and not be able to talk to people!. I felt I needed a break then I was being forced to work!. People kept asking me if I had a job and tried to recommend all these jobs for me!. I thought I would try something "easier" to earn money until I felt normal again!. I took on a few casual jobs and one was where I had to make boxes and sticky tape them!. It seems easy I know but for me because of it all and because I felt the way I did I struggled and the workplace was saying I am stupid and dumb and can't even make a box and I am useless!. I got there eventually and it closed down!. I tried a few other jobs and the same thing happened!. I am still wound up because I had all those years of full time study and I felt I needed a "calming down period" I went to the doctor and he diagnosed something and said to rest!. Now I have rested I realised it was just not me and I can do so much more, I have big plans to start my own business and be self employed and am trying to leave these people's hateful comments behind and every time I tell myself I can do something, these people I worked with hateful comments are in my mind!. I want to do more and am trying all I can and feel so alive and energetic!. I felt I really did need a break and have accomplished more than most people ever do!. But it is hard to stop believing I am the person they describe and realise I am much, much more!. Is this normal!? Does anyone else feel this way!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I know how you feel!.

But think about it - you have finished 6 years of study and have a diploma and a degree!. Do dumbass's have that!? (No, no they don't)!.

Sounds to me like you had an anxiety problem, you were exhausted and it developed into anxiety!. Does having anxiety make you stupid!? (No, it doesn't)!. It happens to the best of us!. Do you know how many people get anxiety!? HEAPS! Even successful people!. Even Oprah and she is like, super rich & super successful!. Even Madonna, even Barbara Streisand!. Nicole Kidman, Pete Wentz!.!. you see where I am going!.

So you finished your studies, were exhausted, got anxiety issues and wanted a casual, easy job so that you could concentrate on getting healthy and back to yourself again!? Honey, that sounds pretty damn smart to me!. You are your number 1 asset!. You can achieve no success without yourself, right!? So it makes sense to do what is best for you!. You were looking out for yourself and so you took the box job so that when it came time to concentrate on bigger things you'd be ready and able to give it your all!. Okay, I think its established that was a smart move!. What happened at the box factory should stay at the box factory!. So you couldn't make a box, who the hell cares!? You could finish 6 years of study! And what is going to get you further in life!? Being able to make boxes, or 6 years of study!? And anyway, when you worked at the box factory, you weren't at your mental or physical peak!. You were going through some issues, and you had other stuff on your mind!. I'm sure that if you were super healthy and feeling ready to take on the world, you would have been able to make a box, right!? Those people had no right calling you useless- they obviously didn't show you how to do it properly and that's a reflection on them not you!. Calling you useless is even more a reflection on them, not you!. Useless people don't have a degree, a diploma and the common sense to relax and take time off when they feel like they are in need of a break!.

Another thing to remember is that everybody has an opinion - everybody from the smartest to the dumbest to the nicest to the meanest people!. That does not mean you have to take everybody's opinion seriously and let it affect you!. Do you respect the people who called you useless!? (Personally I wouldn't respect somebody who is rude enough to call another person useless)!. If you don't respect them and don't look up to them, don't worry about their opinion of you!. Not everybody in this world is going to like you - it is something we all have to face and deal with no matter who we are!. So don't worry about it if people don't like you because it doesn't matter!. Every single person on this planet has at least 1 hater!.

Anytime you think of their negative comments, think of something positive about yourself!. Give yourself a compliment!. When you get up in the morning & look in the mirror, compliment yourself!. You will see changes in your thinking pattern fairly quickly ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should try to take a break from work for maybe two weeks!.!.put more time for yourself and gradually apply your expertise in places that need it!.!.i!.e!. gradually apply for high expectating jobs!.!.although there standards might be higher than yours it will eagerly propel you forward!. and jobs will be an easy task

I know what you mean!. I haven't worked in two years, I needed a break!. Plus there were/are other things going on that make me feel overwhelmed most of the time!.

I take medication for anxiety & depression, but the feeling of being overwhelmed by seemingly simple things is atrocious!. You're obviously an intelligent person!. Try to start planning your business, don't let others stand in your way!. Leave the hateful comments behind, and believe in yourself!Www@Answer-Health@Com

We often internalize other people's beliefs!. Remember, though, that it is none of our business what other people think of us!. You do not have to buy other people's garbage!. You know your own truth - that of a wise and competent person!. To counteract the negative beliefs you have internalized from others, use affirmations!. Whenever you catch yourself thinking a negative thought about yourself, ie: "I am a slow worker," counteract it with the opposite, positive affirmation, in this case something like "I am a careful worker who gets things done in a timely fashion!." Repeat the affirmation several times and at the same time FEEL the truth of the affirmation in yourself as the truth right now, not sometime in the future!. You can do anything you want to!. Trust your inner guidance and your life will unfold in exactly the right way for you!. Best Wishes to You!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
