Do you think it could be depression?!


Question: Do you think it could be depression!?
this is how i've been feeling lately and i really think its depression:

-Cry constantly
-Feel Worthless
-I have no motivation in anything but eating!. This is resulting in weight gain!.
-I am always always always tired, even after sleeping for a good 8-9 hours!.
-I have had thoughts of running away!.
-I have said "I don't want to be here anymore" before!.
-The only thing keeping me from hurting myself is one certain band!. but i constantly get sh!t about how i listen to them too much!.
-there are only 3 people that truely make me happy and don't let me down!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

3 people is actually enough! That is a whole lot!. Even having 1 single true friend can be plenty!.
I do believe you are suffering through depression!. I would suggest buying a self-help book at your local bookstore and reading about non-medical treatments for depression!. They will tell you things such as, expose most of your entire body to sunlight at least 30 minutes a day, exercise consistently, eat wholesome food- no junk, keep a journal, possibly even talk to a therapist, one who does not prescribe medication!. If all else fails then go to a psychiatrist and have them start you on the lowest possible dose of wellbutrin combined with zoloft!. They'll basically give you any drug you want, especially if you insist!. Tell them you want to start on the lowest possible dose and then titrate up (slowly)according to your symptoms!. Don't let them give you Abilify or any other drug labled anti-psychotic cuz those are bad and dangerous!. Make sure you ask what kind of drug it is that they are suggesting before you take it!. Sounds like a classic depression!. And sounds like something you need to get help with!. It can be normal to feel this way for short periods of time, hey, life is hard sometimes!. But if this is an ongoing thing longer than a few weeks its time to make a call and get a lil help!. If it is a depression it can and will get worse, if it isn't a mental health professional can help you get to the bottom of it!. Taking the first step is the hardest!.!.!.!. a real depression robs you off motivation, but bear down and do it!. Depression is treatable and beatable!. But understand it is an illness and needs to be treated if this is actually what you have!. Don't try pulling yourself up by your own boot straps, this will only put off your healing!. It sounds to me like it is depression!. You should really go and talk to your doctor about how you're feeling!. The most important part though is if he puts you on meds then you should also get counseling with that!. Meds will fix it temporarily but you also need to get to the bottom of why you're depressed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i'm in the same boat sweetheart!. i hear your pain!. i've been wondering the same thing!. it seems like we both have some pretty obvious signs of depression but only a psychiatrist can tell you!. i suggest getting help with a professional!. i hope everything works out well!. and there are many people that care about you, you just haven't noticed or met them yet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

contrary to popular belief, depression is actually based on the chemistry of your nerves!. please see your primary physician who can assess for this, if not he or she can probably refer you to a psychologist or therapist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes!. i have severe depression and a lot of those symptoms sound like mine!. my advice is to talk to your doctor and maybe get started on an antidepressant!. counseling helps too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe some depression, but my guess is raging hormones (puberty), they can make you feel crazy; then they finally settle down and you feel "normal" againWww@Answer-Health@Com

It definitely sounds like depression, yes!. But I'm not sure if you need to see a doctor!. The risk with doctors is that they will put you on medication without actually wondering why you are unhappy!.

I'd say, talk to your friends, know you are really lucky to have 3 persons you feel good with!. Talk to them!.
Also try to do things you like!. I don't know if you're in school or if you already work, and how many spare time you have, but whenever you have spare time, it is important to do stuff you like!. Like dancing, reading, writing, jogging, going for a drink with friends, going to the movies, !.!.!.!. Try to socialize with people!. If you start an activity with other people (like a dance class or volleyball for example), it will be very easy to socialize, because you will automatically meet new people!. I know form personal experience that the worse thing you can do when you don't feel happy is stay at home!. Go out!. Breath the world and show the world what a good person you are!. Be proud of the things you can, I'm sure there are some, because everybody is good at something!.
Put a smile on your face (even if it's not easy every day, I know) and you'll see the world already seems brighter just because you are smiling!Www@Answer-Health@Com
