Don't know how to handle this. Help please?!

Question: Don't know how to handle this!. Help please!?
About a year and a half ago I went through a horrible relationship struggle!. I loved every minute of the relationship but I would have never guessed that when it fell apart, my life would go with it!. I don't love him anymore, but think of him from time to time!. Ever since then I've become easily upset and can't stand to be around one person for more than 3 hours at a time!. I can't even keep a steady relationship for becoming extremely aggravated with someone or bored with them!. I was always a happy person and I want that back!. I've been to numerous therapists and tried numerous medications!. How can I be a happy person again without therapists or medication!?
I would seriously appreciate any good idea!.
If you want to email me for more details on the relationship or with more ideas, feel free!.
Thanks soooo much!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Let me start by saying my name is Reggie and I have been a counselor for over 20 years, so with that out of the way a woman Kubbler Ross wrote a great book on death and dying!. According to her the end of a relationship Parallels a relationship ending!. It is a rather old book, but some issues stay the same!. I would strongly suggest reading that book and dwelling on the stages!. Grief takes time and there is no type of time table to say when enough is enough!. When you are ready to move on you will!. Try casually relationships that don't have an underlying theme of commitment!. With the thought of commitment that just adds pressure to the situation, which in turns ends up pushing you further away from that person!.
Perhaps you don't miss the actual person, but you are likely to miss the things that you did together!.
What about being in giving relationships where the person is not expected to give in return!. Maybe a crisis help line!. Kind of away to start connecting again!. In some ways it sounds like you were addicted to the relationship!. There are tons of healing books out there, go to a bookstore-even used stores!. It's not always necessary to go to a therapist or be on medications For this type of thing!. It sounds like you are intelligent and should be able to notice when it's time to get professional help!.
I'm not sure if any of this helps you but I'm willing to chat to you on e-mail or IM to work through this with you more!. My e-mail is on my profile page!. God Bless ReggieWww@Answer-Health@Com
