Yes, it's easy to understand why people turn to drugs!. Some people say "How could they do that!!!!?!?" but for people who are in emotional pain, they would say "How could we not!?"
The problem with drugs is the addictive factor and the level of destruction it causes!. Even though is masks the pain temporarily, it will eventually add more sadness and despair into the equation!. Running away from feelings never tends to solve anything, unfortunately!.
Try finding an "out" that isn't destructive!. Channel those raging emotions into something brilliant; write a book, paint a masterpiece (who cares if it looks ridiculous!?) write a song, enter a marathon, take an interesting class, travel!. There are many ways to escape emotion, but it's the creative "outs" that help in the therapeutic process!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
