Is this post natal depression?!

Question: Is this post natal depression!?
Ever since i've had my son, who is now 8 months old, I have not been feeling myself!. I get angry very easily, everyone seems to piss me off, and i ***** about everything!. I don't engage in conversations as much as i used to and feel generally uninterested in most things!. I do love my son very much and love being his mum, it's just everything else!. I never used to be like this!. Could it be post natal depression, or is it just that i'm over tired!? I am 4 months pregnant now also Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yeah it has to be hormones plus you being tired!. You are pregnant and you have an 8 month old so you are tired from the pregnancy plus all those hormones mixed into one!. Best of luck to you!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, it could be!. Your hormones are fluctuating extremely!. Congrats on both of your little precious ones, first!. I'm sure that they will be a source of joy in your life and that the rest of life will fall into place!. The truth is, the human female body really needs more than four months to recover from the hormones of pregnancy before conceiving again, and this could be compounding your troubles!. Have you considered breastfeeding!? (I am just assuming here due to the closeness of your gestations that you weren't) It encourages the production of endorphins and other "feel good" and bonding hormones that have been shown to stave off the baby-blues!. Don't forget-it's a hard road raising little ones and it's natural to feel isolated and sometimes dedetached!. Rest, take care of yourself and your son, and listen to your instincts regarding your emotions and body!.!.!. if you start having more severe feelings be sure to talk to someone qualified to help you!. Take Care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i just had my baby a month ago and i know what u are going through!. it seems like everyone is pissing me off or irritating me in some way!. i thought maybe cause i am overtired and when u are over tired u are dehydrated!. make sure to sleep between feedings and drink plenty of fluids!. and even more so since u are 4 months pregnant!. lay down and rest alot if u have someone there that can help you out use them!. keep your feet elevated when you rest and try to have well balanced meals to give u energy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It does sound like you have depression and your hormones are all over the place!. You have just had a baby and now your pregnant again!. You body has not had much time to recuperate from your first birth!. You need to go see your doctor and discuss your health, depression is very much treatable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Discuss it with your doctor!. With another pregnancy so soon, you body is probably way out of kilter!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably just hormones babe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you're just exhausted!? and a bit depressed!? maybe you need to take a little time to yourself!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Post natal depression is more likely to manifest soon after delivery, and they are all symptoms of depression, but ordinary depression, brought about by the stress of the new baby, could be responsible!. There are many things you can do to help treat your depression!.

Moderate exercise for at least 20 - 30 minutes, daily, and up to an hour!. Brisk walking is good, and try to be mindful of the feeling your foot makes as it hits the ground: it is a relaxation technique!. Also use daily, one of the relaxation methods in sections 2, 2!.c, 2!.i, or 11, and/or yoga, Tai Chi, and/or the EFT, in sections 2!.q, 2!.o, and section 53, at http://www!.ezy-build!.net!.nz/~shaneris whichever works best for you!.

Take 4 Omega 3 fish oil supplements, daily: (certified free of mercury) it is best if consumed with an antioxidant, such as an orange, or grapefruit, or their FRESHLY SQUEEZED juice!. If vitamin E is added, it should be certified as being 100% from natural sources, or it may be synthetic: avoid it!. Also take a vitamin B complex which is certified as being 100% of natural origin; a deficiency in vitamin B9 (folic acid, or folate) is known to cause depression!. Around 30% - 40% of depressed people have low vitamin B12 levels!. Depressed females using the contraceptive pill may benefit from vitamin B6 supplements!.

Occupational therapy (keeping busy allows little time for unproductive introspection, and keeps mental activity out of less desirable areas of the brain)!. As options, if desired, either a known, effective herbal remedy, such as St!. John's wort, (a German variety, if possible; local ones may vary in efficacy; take with a meal) or supplements, such as SAMe, or Inositol (from vitamin and health food stores, some supermarkets, or mail order: view section 55 at ezy-build )!.

Initially, at least, some form of counselling, preferably either Cognitive Behavio(u)ral Therapy, or Rational Emotive Behavio(u)ral Therapy!. Co-counselling is shown in the first 3 pages of section 2, or online therapy, or even talking with someone you feel comfortable with, and a much more detailed post is on page R, and also see young women's depression, page V, postnatal depression, and eventually the rest!. Consult a doctor, to rule out medical causes!. Try to organise the occasional break; ask the doctor what services are available, locally!. I agree with the advice in page V; avoid antidepressants, if possible, even if prescribed!. Try the alternative treatments for 4 - 6 months, first!.
