Yes depression and anxiety can certainly affect your grades!. However, it's very normal to feel depressed or anxious at this stage of life!. I remember it all too well and it's a priod of great excitement and confusion as well!.
I have suffered from and researched depression on and off for years!. Finally I decided to try a medication after seeing my doctor!. It helped with both my depression and anxiety!. however, being a teel there can be adverse side effects from many of theses medications!. up to and including suicide!.
Some studies show that exercise can have a better effect on depression than many medications!. You may want to try getting physically active!. Another means to help combat this is talking with someone you respect!. I don't mean your friends, but maybe a counselor, or, your parents if they can be understanding and supportive!.
Keep in mind that there are many people who are in the same boat and this can be a normal state of mind for someone your age!. The best bet is to talk with someone and get out and do something to take your mind off the anxiety!.
A 3!.25 GPA isn't too bad!. It won't get you into Harvard, but I highly doubt your future is ruined!. Being young gives you many second chances!. Cut yourself some slack!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
