Cymbalta / depression?!


Question: Cymbalta / depression!?
been on cymbalta for nearly 1 year now for depression , i dont think it seems to be helping i feel as if its gettin used to my system and its just stoped been effective as it was at the beginning of it, i also had a breavement earlier in the year and i feel as everything is getting more harder than easier and i dont seem to be coping , i am seeing a pychatrist every few months , any adviceWww@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with Ricky, time to do something about the drugs, but NEVER stop taking anything without talking to your doctor first!. Abruptly stopping an antidepressant can cause serious harm!. You may just need a stronger dose, or you may have new symptoms and need additional drugs!. Also, you might try seeing your psychiatrist more than once every few months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Talk to you psychiatrist about changing your medication!. Also ask if maybe there are some exercises or something along those lines you could be using to help you better cope!.

I think it's time to try a new drug!. You can't just take yourself off it though!. You need to wean off it with your doctor's ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go see your doctor!. I felt the same after a while on my anti-depressants my doc changed them and i felt much better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
