Anxiety medication that won't make me fall asleep!?!

Question: Anxiety medication that won't make me fall asleep!!?
I have been on Klonapin previously but it always made me really tired!.
Now, I'm in college, and I have an evaluation on Friday!. It is basically to just give me a new prescription for Klonapin but I don't know if that's a good idea!
I am worried that being so tired I will not be able to keep up with my heavy load of homework and going to work 4 days a week!.
SO is there any anxiety medication that won't make me so sleepy!?
Please help!.
Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
There are many different types and strengths of medications used to treat anxiety!.
Most of them do have a sedative effect depending on the dose given and the person's metabolic reaction to medication!.
I don't want to get ito suggesting names of meds on here as I don't know your psychological issues or why you're on Klonapin!.
It may be that you just need to cut down on the dosage you are on, which is probably safer than changing meds at this time!.
Have you considered a regimen of lower dosage and physical therapy, such as breathng or relaxation exercises, as an alternative!?
That might even lead you to being able to get off the medication altogether!
Because of your short timeline though, the only thing you might consider util geting to your MD is to temporarily cut your dosage by 1/4 to 1/2 until after your evaluation, but there's ris even in that without first consulting a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.

The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to!.!.!.!.
