Shall I tell a self diagnosis of a mental illness to a doctor?!

Question: Shall I tell a self diagnosis of a mental illness to a doctor!?
Im going to the doctor this friday by myself, and I was just wondering what to do when I go in as it seems a bit awkward!.
Is it okay to suggest my self-diagnosis to him if it's a mental health problem!?
Or should I just list my symptoms without suggesting the disorder I think it is!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Just list your symptoms (problems!.) He'll know what he's doing!. If you feel depressed, tell him that - and if, for example, it makes you sleep or weepy, tell him that!.

If you hear voices, don't tell him you think you're scizophrenic!. Tell him simply that you hear voices!.

This way, you dont contaminate the honest diagnosis on any level, even subconscious and you can be sure that whatever he says comes from his own medical opinion!. Even doctors are suceptible to thier subconscious minds!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would go to the doc and tell him your symptoms just be honest and tell him everything that you think is happening!. When I went to the hospital worried that I was bipolar, but the doctor said I had psychotic depression instead!. So try not to self diagnos and just see what happens when you go fridayWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah always a tricky situation!. I would say!.!.!.I've been having these symptoms and looked them up online and it says it could "whatever it is"!.!.!.!.do you think that is what it is!?

That would be my suggestion!. Tells him you are concerned but allows him to feel like he is making the diagnosis or whatever!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell him the symptoms and see what he says!. Then tell him what you think it is!. Tell him everything that you feel and all that's on your mind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell him the symptoms, ask him what he thinks then tell what you think it is!. See if you two can agree on something, or that yours may be ruled out for X reason!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is okay to tell him that you are depressed!. I would not give any other diagnosis!. Describe the symptoms and let him do the labelingWww@Answer-Health@Com
