Question: Can you say that I'm SCHIZOPHRENIC!?
Okay!.!.While i was walking, Im reminding, "if you let yourself get affected by things that's when it will ruin everything" then i answered "no, im not letting it affect me i just have to do this blablabla" the fact that i am talking to myself, schizophrenia!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Absolutely not! Ive worked in mental health facilities and Schizophrenia is not diagnosed because people talk to themselves!. Infact Ive heard it said that when you ask yourself a question the answering voice is GODS voice! Schizophrenia is a seriously debilitating condition where people hear voices coming from OUTSIDE their head!. Its as though there is another person in the room for them infact they report the voices wake them from sleep and always come from outside the head!. They actually hear the voices with their auditory canal!.!. or so they are convinced!. Also the paranoia they have is related to what the voices tell them!. For example if the voices are saying things like "the gov't are conspiring against you!.!.!. they are all out to get you!.!.!. their are gov't agents hiding everywhere planning on how to get you!.!.!." etc etc!.!.!. these are paranoid ideations and contribute to a diagnosis of "paranoid schizophrenia"!. Chatting with yourself is normal!.!.!. we all do it!. If it is overwhelming you, start some relaxation techniques (meditation) to silence your mind!.!.!.!.it is a technique that requires practice but if you really work at it meditation is a great skill to use for managing thoughts!. There was a fantastic book (promoted by Oprah) called Eat, Pray Love!. Very good book written by a woman who talks to herself incessantly!.!.!.!. Schizophrenia is not characterized by talking to oneself!. Often schizophrenics will babble, mostly about their delusions!. Answering your own question is certainly not schizophrenia!.
Schizophrenia is not to be confused with MPD, or multiple personality disorder!. Schizophrenics DO NOT have various personalities!. They are always the same person who is suffering from delusions, hallucinations, alogia, avolition, disorganized behavior such as laughing inappropriately, catatonia, or other various symptoms!. no because you recognize your talking to yourself!. often time schizophrenics don't realize they're talking to themselves because the personalities will manifest as a delusion or will manifest in an inanimate object where you think the other personality is actually another person!. you were just giving yourself a pep talk!
