Does a psychologist have a limit on the number of patients they see each month?!

Question: Does a psychologist have a limit on the number of patients they see each month!?
The reason I ask is that my current therapist is only able to see me once every 5 1/2 to 6 weeks due to the amount of patients she has!.
She's making $110 an hour, so just do the math!. If she's able to see 8 patients a day, that's $880!.00 X 20 (The number of working days in a month) and that would be $17,600 a month or $211,200 annually and I would be willing to say that 90% of that is profit because there's only a maximum of 10% over head in a mental heath facility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've never heard of a legal limit but they really should only take on as many patients as they can care for!. You should be able to go in 2-3 times a week if necessary! She is definitely making quite a profit with it as well!. Maybe you should look into finding someone who isn't as busy!? She may be spreading herself too thin!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Therapists can take on as many people as they have time to treat!.
I think your therapist does not have enough time available for you!.
If you want to see someone on a more regular basis, find someone who can fit you in!. It sounds like you would like therapy more often!. Please take care of yourself!. Get the help you want and need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, she probably just has a bunch of patients!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
