How Do I Explain It To Them?!

Question: How Do I Explain It To Them!?
I suffer from depression and lately it has been worse than ever!. I just started a new job which I love so much but in the morning I find it so hard to get up and go in!. I only started this job 2 weeks ago and have called in 3 times already!. This cant be good, I don't want to lose this job, if I lose it I lose a lot more than a job and a pay check!. My family is very upset with me over this, how do I explain to them what is going on with me!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Tell it like it is!. Family will always have your back, and if they don't, at least you were honest and did your part!. Seek medical attention or therapy where you can talk about what's depressing you!. I feel the same way about going to work too, and I call in whenever I'm not feeling up to it, but I've been at my job for over 5 years!. Try to wake up in the mornings with a new outlook especially since you like your new job!. And maybe try going to bed earlier!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Instead of trying to figure out how to explain this to your family,
call to make an appointment with a qualified, licensed psychologist!.
You can get a referral through your family physician!. There is
some psychological reason you are afraid to get out of bed and
go to this job, so you need help!. He/she can give you hope again
and the confidence you need to get out of bed and go to this job!.
And you will find out what is causing you to fear this!.

Good luck to you!.

Go to the doc!. The magic words are 'not functioning,' 'feel like i might hurt myself,' and 'can't cope!.'

Get him to sign you off for a week or two!. Worked for me!. Be honest with your work, but only once you have a doctors diagnosis of depression!. As for your family, the best advice I can give is be honest!.

They may not understand, some families don't!. Seek some therapy, and make sure you get away from the family regularly lest they drag you down into believing bad things about yourself and your condition!. Have some YOU time!.

Remember, it's an illness! Www@Answer-Health@Com
