Could some of my worsened anxiety stem from being on the internet too much? ?!

Question: Could some of my worsened anxiety stem from being on the internet too much!? !?
Ok, I'm a recent college grad with a temp job who's been actively job hunting for permanent position for the past month!. I'm lucky to already be getting interviews, however, no offers yet--so I think I keep failing my interviews cause one of the jobs rejected me saying that I was "not their fit" "something above their skill set", that is, probably overqualified!. And I read all these sources on the internet about job interview tips and what not to say in the interview!. I followed all the rules and answered the questions to the best of my ability, and yes I did follow up immediately afterwards sending a thank you note, so I think I did well in my interviews, but then after reading all these resources on the internet, I second doubt myself, and say stuff to myself like, "Oh no! I knew I bombed the interview, cause I didn't answer the interview specifically like that internet resource suggested,", or "Omg! That's what I forgot, that tiny little rewording problem, I had to scratch my eye for a split second that caused me to break eye contact, dang it! no, no, no!, blah, blah, blah" So yeah, I could go on "overanalyzing" here!. Since I'm insane, I still second doubt myself and constantly question my skills, especially after reading "some article" on the internet, like they say stuff like "some people don't get jobs because they can't pass the interview", so I thought that applied to me, someone who's fresh out of college that doesn't have much interview experience under her belt yet!. Come on, I was a little nervous at the interview, but I did a decent job in hiding it, I still smiled and had the best attitude in front of the employer, so I wonder if these articles I read seem to feed into my anxiety and making me feel even more like a failure!? I have another interview tomorrow and I REALLY WANT TO ACE IT THIS TIME CAUSE I KNOW I CAN DO IT AND A JOB WILL WORK OUT SOON I REALLY WANT THIS TO HAPPEN CAUSE I DONT WANT TO END UP ON THE STREET!! I been out of college saving money from my current job so I can stop living with my parents like a loser! I'm really old at 25 and not getting younger! I'm so scared of "messing up" again!. So, I guess a critical skill I'm lacking here is positive thinking, or whatever!? Other readings I come across on the internet are stuff like "1000's more workers to lose their jobs in January" "Economy in worst recession" "two week notice is too long" and people getting fired for no reason, etc, I could go on!.!.!. Some of my friends suggested that I should get off the computer for a while cause reading all this stuff will make me more anxious!? So have I fallen victim to "too much internet"!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it's from being on the internet too much, maybe it is!. You seem to be in the midst of the 2 stages of finding a job!. 1st stage perfecting the interview, the 2nd stage is going to the interview!.

The 1st stage, perfecting the interview, is just simply making a first impression!. Imagine you visit your friends house and they have a new dog, and upon seeing the dog you kick it in the face!. That dog will never like you!. Even though you are a sincere and loving person, you have made an impression that will take months or years to smooth over!.

The 2nd stage is actually doing the interview!. The biggest success you will have is to do what you have done before when you were successful!. If you are temping, obviously they did some sort of interview, why did they accept you!? What ever it was!.!.!. dwell on it!.

Finally the only way to slam dunk interviews is to do abunch of them and to get all stressed out over the interviews!. Long story short, keep going to as many interviews as possible, and keep doing what you're doing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you seem robotic giving "canned" answers from the internet in an interview, people can tell!. also, if you are really desperate, people can tell that too!. Sign up with a temporary agency like Manpower, Kelly Services, Adecco etc!. Build your confidence by doing short term temporary jobs!. This will keep money coming in -- and many times people hire a "temp" to fill in until they hire a permanent person and when you're the temp and you're doing a good job then many times they will just keep you!. This will build your confidence in a professional setting!. In the meantime, be yourself in the interview!. Relax and just answer the questions truthfully from your heart instead of practicing beforehand!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had a recent interview in which I have done the very same things as you have!. I think the internet is a great place to get ideas, but you must make them your own!. I know during an interview for the governmental agency that I currently work, I brought in a brown bound folder with various info on it to remember, a kind of cheat sheet if you will, to make sure that I did cover all the points that I wanted to make as well as various questions that I wanted to ask!. This may work for you because I felt very confident after the interview and obtained an offer!. I have discussed various techniques with a friend who also interviews for state jobs!. She said most of the time, the most qualified person does not get the job, but the one that meshes best with the other employees!. If there is a job in particular that you are looking for, go before the interview to the place and check out the people!. You will know whether or not you would be comfortable in that setting!. I know that I had one person tell me that I am too down on myself!. I am a perfectionist, so tend to take my accomplishments as accomplishments, but something that I could have done better!.!.!.be sure to be sure of yourself!

As for the internet!.!.!.I don't know if you are spending too much time online, but bad news is everywhere!. If you want to avoid hearing about the slump in the economy, the unemployment rates, and so forth, you might as well turn off the computer, the television, the radio, and stop talking to your friends!. Everyone is feeling the economic pinch!. I just think you are making yourself aware of the situation and honestly, it is stressing, because no one appears to have an answer for any of us and we are worried about maintaining our lifestyles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
