Hearing voices is a def!. good sign to STOP the medication!! That shouldn't happen!. The doctor has to understand (and I hope does!) that the goal is to get you feeling better!. If your meds weren't helping, then that is one thing you can rule out!. Just because that medication didn't work though, there may be other meds that could help you!. You'll only know if you talk to your doctor!. I would just be really honest!. "I feel bad that I didn't tell you before, but I stopped taking the medication you perscribed because I heard voices and that scared me!. I'm feeling really bad now though!. I'm feelign suicidal!. What should I do!?" I think that (if he/she is good) they will understand and try to figure out a better solution!. If you are feeling really suicidal, you can always call life crisis at 1-800-999-9999!. They are a 24/7 hotline to help people!. They're really great!!

You have reason enough to see him--the voices!. To pull stunt like assuming ALL meds are worthless seems not very smart if you've substituted suicidal feelings for voices!? The doc might also know whether or not auditory hallucinations may be a common side effect and know enough to avoid a whole family of meds!. GO!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, tell him you think they were a poor choice and you may have been misdiagnosed!. He has no right to be angry because it is your body, your treatment, your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

He will not be mad, and he does need to know!.!.just tell him like you wrote in this question!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
