It can get pretty bad but if you don't have it you will never understand!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anxiety is different for everyone!. I would say that it's close to accurate to say that no two people have the same medical condition!. I say that because there are so many conditions out there and not everyone has them as mild or severe as another person!. I have a few medical conditions, but they aren't severe enough to where I need medications!. Anxiety is one of them!. If a person can't keep control over their mind and body, I could see these attacks getting pretty bad!. It's not that your friend is getting 'special treatment', she just has a condition and would like to carry on with her life as normally as she can!. Kudos to her for trying that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anxiety-People with generalized anxiety disorder can't seem to shake their concerns!. Their worries are accompanied by physical symptoms, especially fatigue, headaches, muscle tension, muscle aches, difficulty swallowing, trembling, twitching, irritability, sweating, and hot flashes!.

I feel like I am drowning in water some times if it that bad!. I know I take medication for mine!. I am stuck in a crowd full of people and learned to deal with it!. It will take me like 10 min to a hour to calm down!. I wear long sleeve tops and people ask me if I am hot all the time!. I tell them no!. I like smaller groups and have several friends who have it too!.I will not burden no one with my problem because it will cause more anxiety!. I tend to bottle it all up and my friend was massaging my neck and said it was as hard as a rock! lol I find ways to relive all that stress!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I struggle with anxiety and also take Zanax too!. Anxiety can get pretty mad!. Your palms will get really sweaty and your heart starts pounding and I know for me if its really bad I stop breathing for some reason!. So depending on her severity is how bad it can get!. As far as the GED I know nothing about that really I know its different in my state I live in CA and you can't even take the GED anymore unless your 18 or something like thatWww@Answer-Health@Com

Anxiety can be very distressing!. It makes you feel like!. "am i doing this right", "What have i done wrong", "what is going to happen if i do this"!.
It can cause self essteem problems and you feel like you are panicking all the time!. At times, it feels like you have a knot in your stomach and you dont know why and you panick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She probably gets special treatment because anxiety is a crippling mental disorder and can/will disrupt your life!. I suffered panic attacks about two years ago!. All it took was some counseling and I was out of that stage but it was really hard!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it can get worse the medication helps a little bit but the persons themselves have to reverse the effects by thinking opposite of what they are thinking whenever the problems occur like don't worry be happy everytime it starts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.

The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!

Over the years I have had anxiety numerous times!. It first occurred as a child when I was being severely bullied by seemingly every other kid!.
That took the form of extreme shyness, cold sweats when home time was nearing, even though I only lived about 200 yards from the school!.
Later I was bullied by neighbours, and would watch for the bullies to go out before I would go - then I would go the opposite direction! My anxiety still gave me cold sweats and as a young man i started fighting back but the anxiety now caused me insomnia, some school exams were undertaken after 3 or 4 night of only maybe 2 hours sleep!.

Then following a sudden loss in the family the anxiety now took the form of me being almost silent for days!. Still insomniac too I now had several classic signs of PTSD Post Traumatic Stress Disorder!. Later as I got older there were threats to my family from a very nasty source!. This caused me my first chest pains!. Incidents reinforced the PTSD and there were days I had pains all over my body!. Even now little things can set off symptoms that are no less 'real' for their being psychosomatic!. Various pains, fatigue, stress, stomache pains and nausea to name a few!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
