Raise confidence and seelef esteem?!


Question: Raise confidence and seelef esteem!?
now im not a very confident person and m self esteem is low!. i want to raise!. i see some people i look up to every week who's confidence and self esteem are where i want mines to be!. what they have is:
dont care what others think of them, smilie alot, walk with head up, do whatever and dont care what people say or think about it, have full conversations with random people, love themselves, arent conceited, proud to be themselves, always happy, speek their mind and does whatever!.

now: im the quiet kid in school who knows a bunch of people but doenst talk to many of them, i dont try tto meet new people, im shy, i worry what others say and think about me constantly, i dont like my oily forehead and nose, i dont stick up for myself(verbally), i think of the worst thing that could happen in a situation, i stopped playing ball part of the reason is because of my conscioussness, i dont like what i see when i look in the mirror, i look at the ground, i think about all my defects(only 1) and think about it allday

i want to have a high cofidence and self esteem level as those people i look up to hopefully by january of 2009!. and i dont know wher to start can you help get started and direct me on what to do!. thanx

I used to be in a similar situation to yourself!.

A main helper for me was The Prince's Trust!. You could try that or look for a similar organisation!.

The Prince's Trust is purposely made to develop confidence in people and what they do, and it does help!.

The other way would be to start taking chances!.
Answer a question asked by the teacher every now and again, especially when you definitely know the answer!.

A main confidence builder is humour as well!. Learn to laugh at everything, learn to laugh at mistakes and things like that, and to just shrug things off!. This will help you to not be as self-absorbedWww@Answer-Health@Com

just go up to people and talk if u dont like then leave if they dont like you then leave you should be happy to be you you could be starving to deth or something

The first thing you should do is probably try to not care about what others think!. I know it's very hard and I struggle with this myself!. From there i guess you are "released" from your negative thoughts Www@Answer-Health@Com
