I'm 15 and I started on the Yaz birth control pill because of my severe painful cramps!. I'm almost halfway through with my second pack!. My side effects were limited to sleepiness and bad indigestion, where I feel nauseas a lot of the time!. Starting about two weeks ago, I noticed a sufficient decrease in my "sex drive", I don't even like to be touched by my boyfriend!. "Down There" is completely dried up to the point of giving me extreme dicomfort!. I want to cry every 5 minutes, I'm one big emotional wreck!. I'm so angry all the time and am snapping at every one!. I'm not myself, but I don't know if I should stop taking it and live with my terrible cramps and risk getting pregnant when I do want to have sex, or if I should discontinue my use and live with the pain!. I've read about many woman who have these same problems and they never go away!. Is there any chance they'll go away and I'll be myself again on the pill!? I know I'm young but please, please take me seriously I'm stressing out beyond belief over this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to call the doctor who prescribed this for you and make
an appointment to go back to talk to him!. I am concerned about
your dryness which is not a common symptom of birth control pills!.
You may have a yeast infection or other type vaginal infection that
you got since you saw him and the only way he could determine it is to do a wet culture!. Don't just quit because you will have side effects from that!. I have linked to a site where some side effects from taking Yaz are discussed!. I think the only way you can stop the stressing out so much is to go to the doctor and let him see if you have an infection and also put you on another pill with less side effects!.

Wow! I had severe cramps too I used to get physicaly sick ir was awful!.I finally got them under control by taking 800 mg of Motrin!. I almost went on birth control when I was young but I did not go through with it!. It will take awhile to get used to severe cramps,but please try the motrin it worked miracles for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
ask for different medication not all birth control suits us, you may just need a different one!. Go back to doctor you have not got to suffer, good luck x I think that if you cant get into see the doctor yet and you think it is the pills i would just come off them, but dont get pregnantWww@Answer-Health@Com
Call your doctor and talk to her about it!. She has probably seen this before and can tell you if these symtoms will likely go away or remain!. Either way, there are other bc pills that you can take!. It is udderly ridiculous to risk getting pregnant at your age!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
well of course I recommend that you tell your doctor, but I've been on the pill and the same thing happened to me to an extent!.!.!.pretty much my problem was that I kept snapping @ poor innocent people! I stopped taking it and now I'm taking these natural drops in my orange juice each morning, and it tastes great, like honey! and I'm my bubbly happy girly self again! I think you should probably stop taking it, b/c mine also made me get my period for like a month and that's dangerous business!Www@Answer-Health@Com
