Bipolar is a mental disorder characterized by HUGE mood swings between a state of extreme motivation/enthusiasm and a state of extreme and debilitating depression!. Each mood swing can last from a few days to a few weeks, but there is no in-between state of normality!. Many famous artists have had this disorder (formerly called Manic-Depressive Disorder), which makes sense because of the strong emotions experienced and also the motivation of the manic state - perhaps they would go days without sleeping or eating in order to finish a spectacular work of art!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
