Why do some people feel the need to make excessive noise when they clear their t!
Question: Why do some people feel the need to make excessive noise when they clear their throat!?
I recognize that there are issues with allergies and colds and nasal drip and whatnot!. No one is denying that sometimes a person just has to clear their throat!.
What is NOT acceptable is people who INTENTIONALLY clear their throat so loudly that windows and light fixtures actually shake, and others flinch every time they do it!. I work with a guy who actually sounds like a chainsaw starting when he clears his throat!.
Why the need for the excessive noise!? It is some sort of passive-aggressive behavior!? Are they maybe so socially inept that they honestly don't realize how obnoxious they are!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have one of those at home!. It drives me nuts too!. He is a relative who lives with us!. Blames everything under the sun for it too!. The weather, the cat the this the that!. Through the years I have decided that it's just habit!. Yes it is very annoying!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
it's not that they have to or even want to it's a thyroid condition and also happens with emphysema it becomes extremely hard to clear the phlegm from the throat that they have to over work the throat muscle or maybe they have a coke habit they become excessive with clearing the throat from the drip Www@Answer-Health@Com
I hate this habit, hubby does it all the time and very loudly!. I asked him if he does this at work and he said of course not!.!.!.!.if he would quit smoking this problem would go away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
