Question: Why are there so many ignorant and emotionally disturbed people on Yahoo! Answers!?
I mean, I use YA to ask legitimate questions, like how to replace a carburetor on a Chevrolet, or where is the best place to snow ski during the holiday season!.
Maybe literally 1% of the answers are serious, well-thought-out responses!. The other 99% are from people who are just flat-out nuts!. I ask about a carburetor, and they give me a delusional manifesto about Bush, McCain, Palin, Obama, Biden, Iraq, 9/11, why Elvis is living in their kitchen, and blah blah blah!.
Do they post their meaningless drivel here because no one else in the real world wants to hear their nutjob ranting!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think your prob right, they have very strong opinions about 1 subject and have to influence everyone in that regard, No friends probably want to listen to it anymore! I bartend part-time and sometimes being on YA is no different from hearing bar conversations from a bunch of opinionated alcoholics!. BUT there are those people that give good legitament answers and really do want to share their knowledge and life experiences to help another, which is what makes this work and it's awesome!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Probably because there is an amount of privacy when using the internet!. There are people (such as myself) who like to go on here and answer questions that we have actual experience with and others who just want to waste their time!. Then there are the "nutjobs" who just want to rant to someone that has nothing else to do but to read/glance over it!.
