Answers:
This is a great topic to bring up at your next therapy appointment!.
You will think of the reasons why you chose to start therapy!.
You said sometimes you "feel really messed up"!. There is no reason to explain your reasons for going to therapy!. Only you know how badly you feel!. That is good enough reason in itself!.
Good Luck in therapy!. You are taking care of yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One, to answer your question, yes, because some (although few) people are completely in need of counselling because their lives are in a major crisis!.

However, I do believe the majority of people who go, don't need to be going because they would benifit just as well from talking more to people outside of the counseling for free!. Counseling is a business practice, it sells and makes money, and they advertise to get as many people as possible and trick the ones who arn't sure into thinking they need it also!. The more people, the more money!.

Probably for you, if you are "thinking you don't need to be there", then you probably don't need to be there then!. That thought is your own body's understanding, which is greater than what other people understand for you!. Your body knows more than other people know of your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I have felt that way!. If you sometimes feel that you need therapy, then it is best just to go!. Therapy can't hurt, after all!. It's good that you don't have problems all the time, but you'll feel great once you resolve the problems you do have!. I was terrified at the prospect of needing therapy, but all it is is a way to help you learn to help yourself!. Once you understand how to cope, your problems will be easier to manage on your own!. You're doing a great thing by taking care of yourself!. Not everyone does that, and they end up hurting people besides themself!Www@Answer-Health@Com

hey i understand where your coming from when i first went to therapy it was just underlying issues like school stuff and family ect!.!.but as i got to know the therapist better i open up and discovered my fears!.!.and also discovered i have a eating disorder which i didn't relizie tell she told me and it progressed to the point of hospitalization!.!.so just keep going Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that everyone can benefit from counseling!. Even if you don't have a diagnosed disorder, you can still have problems!. Talking about them is a great stress reliever!. I would recommend counseling for anyone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I always wonder, but when after a session I feel so great about things that I never want to quit!. It's that feeling that keeps me going to my therapist!Www@Answer-Health@Com
