so on our drivetime today!.!.!.I told her everything about my eating disorder!. she was awesome about it!. she didnt judge me or anything!. she actually shared that her sister had an eating disorder in the past!.
so I feel really good about it!. and I am glad I was able to talk to her!. But!.!.!.our time together is ending next week!. I will be done with drivers ed!. so I'm kinda dissappointed that I will never see her again after telling her all of this

Cassie,

I think email is a great idea and I think the teacher will be okay with this!. It is fine to keep in touch with a student, she is trying to help you and I am sure she will want to be involved; she will want to know how you are doing!. It will give you a trusted person to talk with!. She has shown over and over that she is interested in helping you, so I think you can do this!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just ask her!. Can you stay in touch with her by e-mail!. This will keep it on a more impersonal level!. Tell her how you feel, being comfortable and all!. You might just be surprised with her response!.
She may be honored that you would think so highly of her!.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Staying in touch by email is a fantastic idea! :) Go for it!.

EDIT: get in trouble for what!? There's absolutely nothing wrong with emailing a student! Don't worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know how you feel!. I confided with my anatomy and physiology professor in college about my schizophrenia and she was totally cool about it!. She even let me skip out on the final because I was suicidal at the time and I had already proven to her that I had a very firm grasp on the subject matter!. It is cool that you now understand that there are many people out there who will not judge you and will do what they can to help you, but you should look for a therapist or counselor who will do the same, because they are the ones trained to deal with these matters and can help you overcome this eating disorder and lead a healthy life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
