The first rule of dealing with addicts of any age is that you can only help them if they really and truly want help!. When I was a teenager my sister tried to get me to stop and when I didn't she told my parents!. I didn't want to stop and there wasn't anything anyone can do to help me!. They checked me into a rehab where they drug tested me and made me go to group every single day of the week!. As soon as the 9 months was over I got a bag of mushrooms and a bottle of whiskey and took off to California!. I went at it full tilt until the time came where I literally can't get drugs, so now I just drink alcohol!. Nothing will help someone who doesn't want to be helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would suggest a geat way is to purchase a book for them to read that way they can gain the best information for themselves without it being too intrusive!. I would also suggest that rather telling them that drugs are bad for their health try the other tact of how much fitter, healthier etc they will be once they have quit!.Give them a positive goal to work towards!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Their best bet for recovery would be to get them into an inpatient treatment facility!.!.as a teenager, their parents are their legal guardians and that guardianship and be temporally transferred!.!.!.!.I worked for a company that was we did was medicate and transport teenagers to various facilities (some rehabs) to get them where they needed to go and boy did they did to stay!.!.the parents would temporarily transfer guardianship to us until we got them to where they needed to go!.!.that way we legally allowed to take them wherever we needed to get them!.!.!.fun job I miss it!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just show them a picture of Lindsey Lohan!. That should scare them straight!. Maybe straight isn't the right word to use with Lindsey Lohan!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
