Is it considered self injury if I don't cut myself?!


Question: Is it considered self injury if I don't cut myself!?
Every time I get upset because I did somthing stupid or got in trouble for somthing I didn't do I want to hurt myself!.
I usually punch myself in the head or slap myself!.
Is that considerd self injury!?
I also have a habbit of chewing my lower lip and fingers as wellas pinching my neck and shoulders!.

Yes, it is self injury, and yes, those habits are probably related to some kind of anxiety!. If you have the option of going to a therapist, you could try that to see where the problems stem from (deep down)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah that is si(self injury or self harm)

but habbits are a little different- like i bite my nails but that doesn't mean that that is a way of me cutting myself- yours are a little different though-
the biting your lower lip might not be self injury related but the pinching is close to being self harmWww@Answer-Health@Com

no, it is not!.
It is also not self injury if you toss yourself down a flight of stairs or cut your arm with a knife, while preparing food!.
If you are up set you should take it out on yourself since you are probably the one who messed everything up to begin with!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes that's considered self injury!. Anything that you do do cause yourself pain to deal with emotional issues is self injury!.

Yes it is considered self injury, even if the skin isn't broken!. And usually it gets worse, so eventually it will be broken!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
