You've been in a state of anxiety for a week, so your body is probably pretty exhausted!. Your memory should be fine once you give yourself a chance to recover!. Panic attacks are usually more acute responses to specific things!. It's a natural fear response - your chest can tighten up, it can be hard to breathe, your adrenaline goes up, your heart beats, blood flows to your face, etc!. Anxiety in general can cause some of these symptoms, to a lesser extent, and also affect your sleep pattern and appetite!. Your body is probably just exhausted from it all!. Don't worry about, just go easy on yourself and allow your body (and you mind, more importantly) to rest!.

If anxiety is something you struggle with it would probably now be worth thinking about whether or not the thing that happened today was worth worrying over for an entire week, and ask yourself why you were so worried about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

in a panic attack you get what is called the fight or flight syndrome!. that means exactly what it says!. you either stand your ground and fight or you run away from a situation that you feel helpless in!. during an attack you feel helpless!. your heart starts to beat faster than normal, you feel like you have a band tight around your chest, you feel like you can't breathe, you feel like you are about to pass out!. you might even actually pass out for a few seconds!. your vision dims and you feel like you can't see except through a small area as if you were looking through one part of a binocular!. you break out into a sweat!. once the attack is over everything should go back to normal but sometime it doesn't!. once it is over do not drink anything but a cold glass of water!. no coffee,no soda, nothing alcoholic,no hot chocolate!. just cold water and keep drinking until everything is back to normal!. if things don't go back to normal by the next day you need to call your doctor and explain to him/her what has occurred and how you are still feeling!. you may need to be placed on a mild sedative for awhile and you may need to talk to therapist!. panic attacks once they start will not go away by themselves!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.

The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!

Panic attacks are sudden, discrete periods of intense anxiety, mounting physiological arousal, fear, stomach problems and discomfort that are associated with a variety of somatic and cognitive symptoms!.[1] The onset of these episodes is typically abrupt, and may have no obvious triggers!. Although these episodes may appear random, they are a subset of an evolutionary response commonly referred to as fight or flight that occur out of context!. This response floods the body with hormones, particularly epinephrine (adrenaline), that aid in defending itself from harm!.[2] Experiencing a panic attack is said to be one of the most intensely frightening, upsetting and uncomfortable experiences of a person's life!.[2]

According to the American Psychological Association the symptoms of a panic attack commonly last approximately thirty minutes!. However, panic attacks can be as short as 15 minutes, while sometimes panic attacks may form a cyclic series of episodes, lasting for an extended period, sometimes hours!. Often those afflicted will experience significant anticipatory anxiety and limited symptom attacks in between attacks, in situations where attacks have previously occurred, and in situations where they feel "trapped"!. That is, where escape would be obvious and/or embarrassing!.

Panic attacks also affect people differently!. Experienced sufferers may be able to completely "ride out" a panic attack with little to no obvious symptoms or external manifestations!. Others, notably first-time sufferers, may even call for emergency services; many who experience a panic attack for the first time fear they are having a heart attack or a nervous breakdown!.[3]
