Serious side effects of bipolar medications?!
Question: Serious side effects of bipolar medications!?
I have been taking BuSpar, Topamax, and Cymbalta for a while!. I was just taken off of my Effexor because along with my Cymbalta (which is my newest medication)!.
Over the past couple of weeks I've been feeling really dizzy while I lie down, and while I'm sitting!. Also over the past couple months I've been having terrible headaches!.
Could my medications be causing this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

YES!!! I am on Effexor (have been for years now) and I notice when I forget to take a dose I will get dizziness even while lying down and headaches!. It's delayed by a couple of days from the dose I missed but it happens!. I thought I had an eye problem but then put two and two together!. This is why you cannot just stop a medication!. You have to be weened off of it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes, these are actually normal side effects of these drugs!. But let your doctor know, it may help just to adjust a dosage, they can check your levels to make sure they are therapeutic, and not an overload!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
