Question: Did Jeffrey Dahmer have OCD or Pure Obsessional Disorder!?
He talks about in his interviews that he had these horrific fantasies that just popped into his head and caused him distress!. This kind of sounds like Pure O or OCD because apparantly they randomally appeared and he got scared of them which is exactly what someone with Pure O or OCD does!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I saw on television that he was diagnosed with Necrophilia (desire to have sex with dead people) and Alcoholism!.
Necrophilia would be classified as a Paraphilia (abnormal sexual desire), not OCD!. People with Paraphilias are expected to have fanatasies about their abnormal sexual practices instead of sexual fantasies like most people would have!.
To be diagnosed with OCD he would have to have symptoms of ritualized behavior and unwanted thoughts that were related to other things besides his sexual behavior!.
He might have said it disturbed him in an interview, but there's no evidence that he ever sought help for it!. Nobody knew about it until he was arrested!.
I'm not sure what you mean by "pure obsessional disorder!." I never heard of that!. There is no diagnosis by that name in the DSM-IV (manual of mental disorders used in the USA)!.
Edit: I just searched "pure obsessional disorder" on the internet and found a Wiki article!. As far as I can tell, this is one guy's theory and it is not recognized as a real disorder by the mental health profession as a whole!.

At his trial he tried to plead not guilty by reason of insanity, he was examined by court psychiatrists and psychologists and was found not to have a mental disorder!.
