Hi i have a problem that very embarrassing and i DNT no what to do because i Carnot tell my mum because i hate awkward situations between us :'( and im relli scared recently i have found a like red,sore,itchy patches inside my vagina like just up above where you out a tampon in and it relli itchey when you wipe with sitchyilet paper you just want to scratch it and it feels like theres a tampon inside me bthreesont no i have had a feel idon'te but ican just feel like my organs if taht sound correct it's horrible i'm scared in case i get TSS im only 13 so i dont no mutch about these things :S theres loads of yellowish discharge coming out aswell into my pants im relli scared and i need help :S

sweetie, it sound very much from what you're describing as thrush, it's nothing at all to be ashamed of and it's just the alkaline levels in vaginas that's been changed, this could be soap powder that your smalls have been washed in or bubble bath or even soap that doesn't agree with you, perhaps even wearing tight fitting jeans or trousers, i can't say enough that it's nothing to be ashamed of and it's only normal and can be treated with canasten cream and/or a tablet that you can now buy over the counter at the chemist, i can only suggest that after you try that and it doesn't work then see your gp who can maybe give you a stronger dose, i know it's a sore thing and can be so irratable and itchy and it can give you a yellowish discharge, hope this helps, i'm a nurse and trust me it's the most commonest thing every woman and girl experiences,
