Question: How to control OCD!.!.please help!?
ok i have ocd and i take luvox 50mg twice a day it helps a bit with the obsessive thoughts!.But at night i feel the need to keep using the bathroom!.My mind is telling me i have to go and if i don't i wont sleep!.And i do this really stupid thing where i go to the bathroom go back to bed and i have to count to 10 and then go back in the bathroom and then i after that i use the bathroom like 5 more times!.!.The thing is i can usually control myself saying NO im not going to do it and im usually ok!.!.but at night when it comes to the bathroom if i don't do it i wont sleep!.and eventually ill have to use the broom anyway!.!.so u just go!.!.is this still the ocd>!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would say yes because of the counting with going back and fourth to the bathroom!.and keep going times in a row!.i'm just like that but with cleaning!.i'll clean off the table and then have to keep cleaning it throughtout the day!.keep on going back and doing it again!.or when i vaccuum,i'll pull out the whole vaccuum for a small little thing on the floor and then i'll vaccuum the whole thing over!.so yes i think it is cuz it sounds just like me, in a different way!.

my dad has it and he takes sleeping pils or doesnt ddrink coffee!. I have a very mild case of insomnia and because im too young to take sleeping pills i use homeopathic sleeping pills and work out alot to keep me tired!. if you cant do any of these you should always talk to a doctor because they can point out exactly what to doWww@Answer-Health@Com
usually what i do when i obsess about anything is i just draw a blanc in my brain, like i invision nothing that helps a lotWww@Answer-Health@Com
