I'm Having Random Nighttime Paranoia, Any Tips?!

Question: I'm Having Random Nighttime Paranoia, Any Tips!?
Things I don't care about in the day become overactive fears when I'm just laying in bed, trying to get to sleep!. Sometimes it gets seriously irrational to the point where I begin to theorize about zombie invasions!. The fears can range from random bombing attacks to the apocalypse to getting sued over owing blockbuster a 10 dollar late fee from 4 years ago!. I just can't seem to lie down on my bed at night and settle into a peaceful, paranoia-free slumber!.

This has been going on literaly alomst every night for the past few months!.

Help!.!.!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

OMG! I'm not the only one!! If you'll notice this answer is posted @ 2am!. Why!? because I can't sleep either!. The voice in my head wont SHUT UP! Is my job safe!? if I lose my job and house how could i go about job-hunting while living in my car!? Then I go on to actually plan out in my head how I'd get by living in my car! As for the zombie invasion thing, also not alone!. My husband read World War Z and now we have a battleplan for just what to do!.!.!.should the dead ever walk the earth!

You aren't insane!. I'm a New Yorker!. I've made my peace with random bombing attacks and you should too!. Keep alert but well!.!.!.!.!.what are you gonna do right!? As for getting some sleep, you have to take control!. How are you going to fight the zombies, or survive the apocalypse or file a countersuit against blockbuster if you are half braindead from lack of sleep!? I know it sounds like I'm being sarcastic!.!.!.!.I'm not!.

Try this, lay in bed and close your eyes!. picture a movie theatre, completely empty and the screen is scrolling numbers backwards from 100!. I like to count them off 'out loud' in my head!. ANY thought that pops up other than those numbers you say to yourself NOT now!. Or just NO, and return to the numbers!.!.!. slowly but steadily!. Honestly, I've never made it past 60-something!. No zombies, no anthrax attacks, no living out of my car!. I'm out like a light! I hope it works for you too!! Www@Answer-Health@Com

From my perspective you have a very good imagination and you should be a writer or something!. When you get to bed you probably sleep well/normally, is that correct!? The exercise comment was a good idea; also you could try setting a strict sleep pattern if you don't already!. It could be some pent-up anxiety from something happening in your life, in which case it will pass, or it could be something hormonal!. If it keeps you awake for too long you could always try Benadryl, but not every night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a similar problem about 10 years ago!. My suggestion is that if you live in a safe neighborhood then go for long walks about an hour before bed!. Or better yet if you can get a gym membership that will let you excercise that late you can go there!.

the point is that if you have problems only at night then get out of your house and excercise a little bit!. It will get you away from your problems for a little bit and when you do get home you will be tired and fall right to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you know they have mental health medication for that!. one med is call Thorazine!. there are others but they are not legal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
