Can anyone suggest any informative books about Borderline Personality Disorder?!

Question: Can anyone suggest any informative books about Borderline Personality Disorder!?
I've been trying to find books on Borderline Personality Disorder for the past year or so, I've checked out a few that were suggested to me but they were all more from a doctors point of view!. I personally would rather read something that's written from the point of view of someone who ACTUALLY has BPD and knows what it feels like!.
The books that were written by doctors are so confusing b/c of their constant need to use medical terminology that most people wouldn't understand!. I think someone who actually has BPD would be able to describe it better than someone who just studies it!.
So if anyone knows of any good informative books about Borderline Personality Disorder written by or from the point of view of someone who has it, it doesn't matter if they are just describing how certain medications or treatments worked for them and how they deal with it on a daily basis or if they are explaining their personal experiences or recovery, please let me know!.
There really aren't as many books out there about this disorder as there are for other mental disorders, any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

**very good book, it is from her point of view as the patient who is diagnosed with bpd and it goes into great detail about her therapy and how she evolves from suffering from bpd, to living with it, to eventually being able to cope with the world without her therapy!. Very good read!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

BPD is addressed in section 15, at http://www!.ezy-build!.net!.nz/~shaneris Be aware that, because of their upbringing, people suffering from BPD tend to see things in terms of black and white, rather than shades of grey, and often idealise, then devalue, in relationships!. They also tend to have a great fear of abandonment, and sometimes go to extreme lengths to prevent it!.

Use the locators, in section 1, at ezy build, and the phone book, to find a therapist who uses Dialectical Behavio(u)ral Therapy, or get a good book on the subject, and give to a therapist using Cognitive Behavio(u)ral Therapy (fairly common, and probably nearby) and ask that it be incorporated into your treatment!. Read "I hate you: don't leave me!." by Jerold J!. Kreisman, m!.d!. and Hal Stras, or, from the point of view of someone with BPD; "Get Me Out of Here: My Recovery from Borderline Personality Disorder" by Rachel Reiland

More books are recommended at http://www!.bpdresources!.com and http://www!.borderlinepersonalitybooks!.co!.!.!. has books under 5 categories, including consumer, family, and clinical!.

"Lost in the Mirror: An Inside Look at Borderline Personality Disorder" by Richard Moskovitz M!.D!.
Patty Pheil M!.S!.W!.: I recommend this book to many people!. I sat down and cried shortly into the first chapter!. It was the very first time that someone understood me and not only that, it was as if the author had his arm around me through the entire book!.

Lost in the Mirror is beautifully and gently written!.

The magic of "Lost in the Mirror" is the mixture of the tremendous clinical experience and knowledge the author has (he is up to date with the research), with his very gentle, warm and caring personality!.

It is also an excellent book to assist families in understanding the borderline their lives!. I have heard from many family members how helpful this book has been for them!.

Dr!. Moskovitz brings you right up to date with his second edition in regards to treatment!. He discusses the latest about psychotropic medication, EMDR and DBT!.

A workbook that offers good coping skills is Marsha Linehan's Skills Training Manual (a DBT Workbook)!. Your bookstore, or http://www!.amazon!.com/ may well be able to source these, and other books on the subject!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
