Can I take my generic Wellbutrin (300mg) dated from 2006?!

Question: Can I take my generic Wellbutrin (300mg) dated from 2006!?
It was given to me in 2006!. I have a whole bottle left b/c I didn't like the size of the generic rx so I switched to the brand!.

Now, my insurance copay is so high I'd rather not pay for new wellbutrin when I have a huge bottle of generic from 2006!.

I've heard that medicine outlives it's experation date!.

I think the 2006 was when I received it, NOT the expiration date!.!.!. there was no expiration date on it!.

And if it is expired, what would happen!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

from a professional stand point I would say that you should take take expired medications!. However, form a personal stand point, if I where you I would use the meds!. If anything the medication way have lost a little of the potency!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Expired medications can either make you seriously ill because they have become overly potent or do absolutely nothing because they have lost their potency!. Don't take the chance!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call a pharmacy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you got it in 2006 it has indeed expired, and it will do you no good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
