I say, tell her the truth and let your know you haven't taken them at all!. Good for you~ believe in yourself and others will too! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey Sassy one, you need to see a counsellor, probably one who specialises in DBT [Dialectical Behavioural Therapy]!.

Organise yourself & find someone then ask your Foster Mom to go with you to the Doctor & talk openly with them both!.

Those thoughts won't go away by themselves, but be prepared you may need to add medication as you may self harm at the first sign of stress,

Take care & at least think about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Be honest for the most part!.!.!. and if you feel the need to harm then start back on your meds!. I've been in denial for a long time about my meds and mental disorders but I've accepted that my brain doesn't work the same way as everybody else's and started taking them again!. I found a combination that finally works for me and I'm happier than ever!. I can't believe what I've been missing out on for most of my life!. But everybody's different!.!.!. so do what's right for you, and good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would wait before telling her the truth!. I would bring it up when you see the doctor and you have to "prove" that you're better!. In the mean time, try not to cave in to the craving you have to cut!. It's really not good for you, no matter how much you feel that it helps!. Be strong and hold out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think youve done well!. you could tell her!.!.!.but what good would it do!?

have you tried other stuff instead of cutting!? if you put an elastic band round your wrist (tight but not too tight) and oing it when you get the urge to cut!. it can help!.

if you are worried and think you should tell her then do, but if its guna make you feel worse then dont!.

Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just don't start cutting!. If you start, or even have the urge, then maybe you DO need the meds!. Wouldn't hurt to tell her the truth - that is always best, but if you have a strong desire to self-hard then you do need meds!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try therapy instead or as a supplement to the meds!. Or maybe it's an idea to change the medicine you're given!.
You should def!. get _some_ help, to prevent you from cutting yourself or harming yourself!.

Take care!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes be honest with her!. But also be honest with yourself!. If you are wanting to cut again then you might need the medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Meds can't be forever I don't think!. I would seek counceling for any issues you have and then the meds will fall away naturally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What meds are you taking!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

What you are going through can be very difficult!. Especially when you cannot be honest with people!. It sounds like you have a supportive foster mother and a therapist/dr!. you can rely on!. I'm wondering why you feel the need to "do this" alone!? It's too tough by yourself!. Get the support you need by being honest!. Having these thoughts/urges are not your fault!. They are just the way you have learned to cope with things - albeit it is not a positive way to cope - it is the way you have learned!. You sound like a smart person!. You don't need to fly solo on this!. You are not weak minded because you are experiencing this and may or may not need medicine!. People with diabetes are on medication for their life!. People with heart conditions: on medication for life!. There is nothing wrong with taking medication for mental health conditions!. Especially when you are talking about a disorder such as bipolar/mood disorder or thought disorders (like schizophrenia)!. Please talk with your dr!. or therapist and be honest with them!. Tell them you haven't' taken the medicine!.Tell them about the thoughts you have and tell them how you fight the urges!. They should be able to help you!. Be good to yourself!. Make good mature choices to ensure your safety!. I wish you the best outcome!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This should be between you and your mental health team!. Your foster Mom needn't know about this unless you feel like it is an emergency!. Some people need to take meds for life because there is a chemical imbalance in their brain!. Think of it like a diabetic who needs insulin!. Would you think they should discontinue their insulin!? My husband has OCD, so he is on meds for the rest of his life!. I have anxiety coupled with depression!. I very well may need meds for the rest of my life, but that has yet to be determined!. The right meds will help you deal with the world, and cut the worst of the symptoms off!. Get a good mental health team and good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have any questions about your medication, you should discuss it with your doctor and another doctor opinion to see whether the second doc would recommend the same treatment!.

Also, it depends what you are taking the meds for!. If you have anxiety /very depressed or bipolar, taking your meds are necessary so that your moods are not violently fluctuating!. Another important thing is, you need to know what the side effects are!. Sometimes the side effects can make taking the medicine a living hell!. If you are feeling in ways that you would say are not your usual self, please discuss everything you are feeling with the docs, so they can help you find the correct solution!.

It's very hard to be around someone when they are not taking their medicine on a regular basis!. You cannot trust their behavior because you never know what you are truly dealing with!.

Peace to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
