Slitting, im on the borderline.?!


Question: Slitting, im on the borderline!.!?
I really feel so unhappy at the moment that im going to slit,
today i picked up the razor and was about to do it!. i managed to stop myself at the last minute!. I dont know what the heck i can do, i know i have life good i know i sound spoilt!. On the outside im such a happy looking positive friendly person, but deep down im broken im so upset and emotional!.!. I never show that side to anyone it comes out when im all alone or when im trying to sleep!.
Im scared im going to really hurt myself by slitting i dont want to but i feel if one more thing that upsets me ill do it!.

Im not going to a counsellor and i said I AM NOT!.
i want to do this on my own

i like people thinking im a happy person, i dont want them to see my other side so i need ways to convince myself its not the right thing to do!.

Maybe you should consider turning some of that unhappiness into writing!. You seem to be pretty handy with words!. I'd suggest poems!. Have you tried talking to friends and/or family about it!? Everybody and I do mean EVERYBODY has bad days and even weeks but you have to remember the good times that you've had and the good times that are still ahead of you!. I can't possibly know your situation or whats going on in your head but I do know that you sound like you're in a place that I've been before!. Slitting is a way to relieve emotional pain!. Why are you in pain!? Your not doing what makes you happy, your doing what other people think is going to make you happy!. You project that you are happy but inside your hurting!. Listen to your heart about what trully would make YOU happy!. Professional help may be needed to figure what that is and why you care so much what others think of you!. You should really tell a close friend or your parents about this, you need some help and they can best provide it!.

Slitting and suiciding are very narcissistic behaviors, please try to focus on others, especially on helping others!. Do some volunteer work of any kind!. You'll find that your life is very good compared to others, you'll feel more of a sense of purpose, and your dark thoughts will go away!.

try to focus your energy and thoughts into something more positive!.!. like sports or exercise!. even when i feel rly rly down, i force myself to work out or play a sport and i release my negative feelings through the physical activity!. it helps you clear your mind a bit and makes you happier!. you sound as if you believe people won't like you for yourself, the real you, the first step is being really honest with yourself, about who you really are and letting it show!. if people can;t like you for the real you so what, they aren't real friends anyway!. believe me!. people will like you if you give them a chance, even if they don't always agree with you!. you'll find out who can be real friends, tear down the wall you've built around yourself and stop living in a world of fear!. what have you got to lose besides the fear you!.ve built up and maybe a few roughed up feelings once in awhile!. give yourself a chance for some good feelings, they;'ll more than make up for any temporary embarrassments, disappointments, and misunderstandings!. try to find understanding for what you really feel, and say what you really mean!. you already have a thoughtful conscience!. let it show through and build up real understanding!. believe me it's worth it!. give yourself time and patience, without self judging so harshly!.!. you have the same right to believe in yourself as everyone else has!. you can make it through awkward times like anyone else does, even the happiest people cry once in a while, so cry and let it go when you hurt!. you'll feel a relief and find new strength inside!. everyone goes through it and keeps on going!. so will you!. good luck my friend !!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i know someone who is going exactly what ur going through!. yesterday she had a razor against her arm and pulled it away the last second!. she's very happy she didn't do it because cutting can be addicting!. i know u said u want to do this alone, but the only thing that has helped her is talked about it!. she found a friend and they talked it all through!. but if u do not want to talk to anyone, write it down!. it seriously helps!. or if ur into music or drawing, do that!. write a song or draw it out!. u have to get ur feelings out somehow!. and u can get them out while being alone!. but i do suggest u find someone u can talk to!. i wish u luck and know u are not alone in this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What would be so terrible about talking to a counselor!? I'm just curious why you are so against that!. I'm not going to push you to do it!. I just want to know if you even have an answer!.

As for things you can do in the moment that will keep you from hurting yourself, you could try writing it all out in a journal!. Sometimes just getting out of your head can help a lot!.

You could go for a quick walk, even light impact exercise helps to get endorphins firing in your brain and will make you feel happier!.

If your miracle came true and you could change things to make them all better tomorrow, what would that miracle have to entail!? What can YOU do right now to make a little change for the better!? Figure that last one out and then do it; change it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
