Question: Sad all day everyday!?
is this normal!.!.ok well i know its not!.!.but how do u know when u need professional help!? when is to much!? im just so sad and unhappy Www@Answer-Health@Com

No its not normal, it sounds like depression!. I have been suffering for the past 4 years!. It started first with physical pain in my back and neck, old injuries which were only an acute problem!. However this turned into chronic pain and when it got to the point of I can't take it anymore depression set in!. I continued to work for 3 months and in those 3 months the depression got worse until I left work and stayed at home and cried for 3 weeks before seeking help!. I went to a local hospital and they called in a psyhciatrist who prescribed me diazapam (valium) for 2 weeks until my appointment with him and have since been on anti depressants!. The anti-depressants however do not provide immediate relief it usually takes 4-6 weeks and you may have to try several different ones as each has different side effects or may take a combination of them!. No matter what please seek medical advice!. I would recommend going through the hospital first as they seem to take mental illness as a priority and it may be easier to see a psychiatrist if you are referred from the hospital!. Also note: If you are working and need to go on leave and have any insurance for health or mortgage they will usually only cover you if you see a psychiatrist not a psychologist!. I worked in a bank (in Winnipeg) and I know that was one of the criteria or you may not be covered!. Good Luck Www@Answer-Health@Com

If there is a logical reason, like a death in the family, or business problems, then it is probably not medical, and just logical to be upset!. If there is no clear cause, then it might be time to think about seeing a doctor!. The change in weather and decreasing daylight in autumn also affects a lot of people and that's why they start to eat more, as there are pleasant reactions to the food in their bodies!. See a therapist- this is common, especially among teenagers!. And it sucks! I know a lot of people that should be very happy, but just simply are not and can't be no matter what they try!.

Maybe you need to talk with a professional, maybe you need meds!. Neither are fun, but it's necessary!. I was really sad for a period in time, and I couldn't do anything, it was terrible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i used to be sad, very sad, for no reason at all!.
now i try to be happy, it is hard though, maybe in the morning il be happy, then in the afternoon angry and by the evening il be quite sad, it might be stress, might be hormones, might be mild depression or something!. i was 15-16 when it was happening to me!. now im 17 and it still does, i have highs and lows all in the same day!.
i didnt seek help, i dont think i was bad enough!.
if you feel suicidal seek help immediately, until then i would just wait, and hope it blows over!. see your friends regularly, i found loneliness my biggest source of depression!. if your home alone or something ask a friend to come over, it helped me when people were there!.

according to medical data, you suffer from depression if such feeling continues for 2 wks or more!. and it prevents u from doing ur important work normally like before!.

i seem to be sad all day everyday too!.!. i have depression n stress n im only 16!.!. ifound this out by seekin help!. i had my first appointment 2day with my counsellor and it helped loads!. i think you should go and see your doctor and explain to him exactly how u feel!. hope i helped

its never to soon to get help the sooner the better, doctors are very understanding and approachable!. and the longer you leave it the higher the chance of feeling worse!. good luck hope you feel better soon :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would say at the least you need to talk to a counsler to see if you need any type of help!. i am bi-polar myself and i know what you mean!. so my advice is to just talk to someone and take it from there!. hope this helps
