Answers:
Easy they could put you to sleep for a few months
A tube into your stomach a drip into your veins

Force feeding with a tube while the patient is wake is sure to be dangerous - But it has been done in the past!. The suffragettes went on hunger strikes while trying to get the vote for women, many of them were force fed

Okay, its not easy - Once someone had regained the weight, the psychiatrists would have to start treating the mind and confidence of the patient

If someone is committed by their family, I think they loose their right to refuse treatment

Yes, they might put a tube down your throat or they might use an IV, assuming you don't pull either one out!. If you try & pull it out they will then put you in restraints!. If a family member and/or psychiatrist feels you are a danger to yourself then they can have you committed!. In CA you can be committed to a limited stay until the courts can prove you are stable or unstable!. Maybe the person involved can get into a treatment center or hospital on their own, which is always the best way to go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

most people who enter a hospital for an eating disorder have "bottomed out!." meaning that they want to get better!. as hard as it is for them to eat normally, they take other people guidance!.

it's very similar to someone going into rehab for drug abuse!. they don't want to give it up, but life is too hard to go on as it has been!.

in the rare cases where someone is committed involuntarily, i believe that a feeding tube is used, but in very rare cases!. i don't think that it's in the nose however!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Theres a bunch of waaayss!.!.!.!.
1)attach a iv needle to your arm or someplace and the nutritions form the food goes in your body!.!.without physically eating!.
2)use a feeding tube(a tube attached to your stomach and it sends some kind of substance to your stomach)

Hmm there is like 2 more ways cant think of them sorry hope that halped thoWww@Answer-Health@Com

The idea of being in the hospital is to help you see the error of your ways and teach you to eat healthy, they use as gentle methods as possible to teach you!.
If you are so malnourished that you can't eat regular food any more they'll put in that feeding tube!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah a feeding tube!. Plenty of people do that!. Do you remember Terry Schaivo she was practically brain dead!. She was only kelp alive by a feeding tube!. To pull that was to pull life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you get\are too thin they will shove a feeding tube down your throat weather you like it or not no the doctors do it not a phychiatrist the feeding tube goes right to your stomachWww@Answer-Health@Com

They put an IV in your arm (veins) and feed you through that!. Just so your body can get the nutrients you need if you refuse to eat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think they use a drip with food in it to pump the food into your body through your arm instead of making you eat it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
