Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.

But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.
The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to!.!.!.!.

Antidepressant medication is not addictive!. The so called withdrawl that people claim to have is directly related to the return of symptoms or anxiety over being unmedicated ie!. anxiety over the return of symptoms!. Side effects to antidepressants can vary and can cause anything from euphoria to severe depression even suicide, impulsivity, indigestion, lack of sex drive or heightened sex drive, increased anxiety, insomnia, over sleeping etc!. It is all very dependent on individuals!. How one person reacts to the drug does not predict how you will react!. That being said, take note that your doctor is just going to start you on any one medication and if it doesn't work, he or she will fiddle with your dose, give you other meds or switch your meds all together!. It can take a very long time to find the right medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It made me really sick to my stomach and didn't seem to touch my symptoms!. It's not addictive!. When I went off it (cold-turkey after several months), the only side affect was that I stopped feeling nauseous!.

I seriously doubt it can be bought online without a script--at least, I'm HOPING it can't!.

I'm doing better with counseling than I did on meds!.!.!. I highly recommend seeing a therapist!. Deep breathing exercises and stuff when you feel the anxiety starting work wonders!.!.!. and you don't have to wait til your baby is older to start those :-)

Best of luck!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
