i think my friend has an eating disorder because she told me last week that she makes her self sick after eating Very fatty food and the only food the lets stay in her stomach is anything under 50 calls i know i should say something im really worried how should i go about getting her help Www@Answer-Health@Com

tell her parents behind her back!.!.ya she will hate you but later on after she recovered she will see that you saved her!.!.like for me my therapist made me to go to the hospital and i was serious mad at her at first but now i don't know how to thank her for what she done!.!.her life is more vauleable than your friendship!.!.just be strong and if she says mean things its not really her talking its her ed saying she gonna die and be fat ugly all those irrational thoughts trust me!.!.!.the things i said to my mom when i was not thinking clearly were so mean but she knew it wasn't me!.!.!.be the strong one and get her helpWww@Answer-Health@Com
I used to slash myself on a regular basis!.!. found a site that helps for that and other forms of self mutilation (eating disorders are considered self mutilation!.) If nothing else, direct her to people she can talk to about it!. Sounds like Bulimia!. Google it, print some advice then give it to her - tell her you may be wrong but this it what it sounds like - offer to go with her to the docs - BEAT have a great helpline!.

eating disorders are very serious!. chances are what ever you tell her she not going to listen to you!.!.!. if it get any worse she needs professional help!. thats the only way to help an eating disorderWww@Answer-Health@Com
