I need some help and advice. Please answer?!

Question: I need some help and advice!. Please answer!?
Alright!. So I've been out of school for an entire month for mono!.
I have only been to school a couple of days this entire school year, and I have missed EVERYTHING!. I go to a very prestigious school, and it is extremely hard to catch up!. Today was my first day back at school, and I'm stuck home tonight having anxiety and panic attacks!. Plus, I'm in the ninth grade, and doing Geometry!. Every class in my school is a grade higher level than a regular school would be!. So what do you think!? Should I just take Algebra 1 again to make it easier on myself!? What can I do to calm myself down!? I am currently on Prozac, and I'm dealing with a lot of depression and anxiety at the moment!. Thanks if you answer!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
take a deep breath darling!.

one month off from school is a lot but it it not going to destroy you!.

I suspect your teachers will be supportive of you having a process of catching up if you show you are making an effort to do so (which it sounds like is a given for you)

SO --DO NOT expect for catch up for one month on missed school in one day or one week, or even really necessarily in one more month!. i would experct it to take you perhapt about two months to really get up to par w/ everything- after working time and a half on your homework that whole time!.

pluss you have been sick and it;s realistic that working time and a half rt now may not be the best thing,!.

how about you do some homework and make some progress and let your teachers know that you will be working hard but that you are also overwhelmed and that you;d like to work out some level of flexability with them considering the "catching up" up you have to do!.

and then just proceed!. even if this is a tough year- you will make it through!. most people (even at very hard schools) find plenty of ti,e to do all sorts of things along w/ their studying,!. so maybe you miss out on a lil of that stuff this semester--but what i'm saying is there is time in there for you to do all the work!.

good luck, :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would not take a class that you have already taken just to make it easier on yourself!. You should talk with your teachers and have them recommend another student that you can ask to tutor you until you catch up!. You've been out because you were sick!.!.!.people will understand!. Furthermore, I do not recommend taking anything else to help you calm down!. Just work on finding something that you can focus on when you get really stressed out and work through those feelings!.

Take some deep breaths, do some stretches ( I do Yoga ), try some herbal tea with Valerian Root, Chamomile, Passion flower, St!. John's Wort, and try to focus on relaxing every evening before you go to bed!. You will sleep better and handle stress better during the day!. Give yourself that time to put all of that other junk aside!. Even try sleeping with a white noise machine!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

its better to take easy classes and pass with an A then to take a hard class and pass with a CWww@Answer-Health@Com

in a situation like this, you want to do whats best for yourself, w/out holding yourself back either!. I think the reason your feeling overwhelmed is also b/c of the anxiety!. i feel very similarly to how you do!.!.!.!.can you talk to a school advisor!? i went to a h!.s!. like that, so i know how overwhelming it can be!. don't be afraid to express yoru concerns to someoen you trust, b/c you also don't want to hold yourself back either!. but if you're having trouble b/c of the depression anxiety than maybe consider taking the algebra so you don't overstress yourself!. its not like you'd be going back at all, youd just be up to level!. good luck and get well!Www@Answer-Health@Com
