Wouldn't it be great if...?!

Question: Wouldn't it be great if!.!.!.!?
there was a way to inexpensively get a brain scan to determine if you are chemically depressed!? I was watching a show on mental health and it showed a chemically depressed brain (meaning low serotonin)!. It actually looked different from a normal brain!. You can be depressed because of situations and then be put on drugs that increase the serotonin in the brain but this is unhealthy unless your brain is low in serotonin!. Also, if you haven't read Prozac Backlash, it's a definite must! It talks about how most drugs for depression are not taken in the right doses (too much too fast) and the dangers/side effects of many drugs when they are taken for the wrong reason in the wrong dosages!.
It would be so nice if there were an affordable way to know if you needed drugs or therapy!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It would be ideal!. The brain is complex!. Depression doesn't necessarily mean a person is deficient in serotonin!. There's norepinepephrine and dopamine to consider as well!. Regardless, you're right on! High resolution, meaningful, images of the brain aren't cheap!. Many drugs are trial & error!. You win some, you lose some!.

Yes, it would be nice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
