Depressed since forever..?!
Question: Depressed since forever!.!.!?
Ive been depressed since grade 8, im now in grade 10!. Ive never been actually diagnosed with depression, ive been to a therapist once for a couple months in gr!.8 but she didn't take me seriously at all!. Ive been a cutter since grade 8 too!. Ive also asked my mom to take me to see someone for about a year but she never does, ive sat her down and talked with her one on one but she keeps putting it off!. Im scared that eventually ill hurt myself, how do i make her understand that im very serious when i say i need some help !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you tell your guidance counselor, they may say it's mandatory for you to seek help before youre allowed to return to school, since youre "a danger to yourself"!. If that's what you want, do that!. Then you can get the help you want!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Now that I'm 31 (shriek), I've realized that I and most of my friends were depressed teens!. I think it's just part of growing up and your mom probably does too!. Meds are not always the answer and at a young age it's probably not a good idea!.
If you really think you need help and your mom won't listen, talk to a school counselor, or another family member!.
But I can tell you that I felt the same from about 14-20 and I survived!. I am on meds (about 6 months) now but I'm glad I wasn't on them then!.
They are difficult to stop and can make you zone out so I think it's important to know yourself before you start!.
Teens were a nightmare, twenties were too much fun and too much trouble, and the thirties are great so far!.
