The only way I could think that you could have damaged your heart when you attempted suicide would be if you ended up in cardiac arrest at some point in the ordeal!. If oxygen was deprived from the heart muscle, you could have lost some heart muscle!. Other than that, it is not possible that an overdose of alcohol and benzodiazepams such as Xanax could cause a heart attack four months down the line!.

It is possible that you may have some type of congenital heart defect, that just started popping up in eighth grade, and has been bothering you since!.

What I'm thinking *might* be possible is that your EKG may have been normal because it is not an electrical problem!. It is possible that your heart is beating fine, but could have a problem with a valve, such as blood flowing through backwards!. I'm pretty sure that something like that would only be visible on an echocardiogram, which is an ultrasound of the heart!.

Most importantly, get to the doctor, as soon as possible

Best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I believe so yes it can!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Could be a heart attack!.!. There was a kid in middle school who died from the teacher holding him down while he was having a heat attack _Middle School_!.!.

Do you exercises!? If not try to start it will help your heart!. 1) By getting it stronger 2) More blood flow to your body, helping get blood to your extremities!.!.!.
Are your hands ever cold, but your not!? if yes, that can be from not good blood circulation!.

I don't know your story about your OD but whatever the reason is or was try to get out of it!.!.!. If it's at home family (move to a relative) if it's a girlfriend (think if its worth it!?) If its you personal being try to change it
but whatever it is i bet if you change this your heart might do better!

Good Luck and have a Great Life! It will get better!.!.!. (personal experience)

P!.S!. You also said it stopped while you were praying!.!. If or when it happens again!.!.!. Try to sit down or lay down if possible!.!. and close your eyes think about each breath you take in and out think about the blood going in your heart and out!.!. think about the oxygen that corses throught your viens!.!. Sounds cheassy but i think it will help!.!. also try an go to yoga!.!. sounds girly but i bet there will be lots of other guys!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course it's possible, but given your age and your psychological issues, you are more likely dealing with immense stress and anxiety!. You said after you prayed the pains stopped, which suggests to me you were able to center yourself into a more peaceful place, which again brings me back to anxiety!.

I'm going to toss something out here, because it is such a little accepted phenomenon among the medical crew, and that is adrenal fatigue!. Google it!. This also goes in line with chronic fatigue syndrome and adrenal insufficiency - you might be able to resolve some of your stress and anxiety issues by simply babying your adrenal glands!.

The adrenal glands are the ones that deal with stress, both acute and chronic, and when you are under long-term stress (which it seems you have been), they stop working adequately, leaving you an emotional mess!. It gets to a point you can't even handle simple exercise!.

Good luck to you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
