Question: Help trouble with PTSD and trauma from rape!. !?
I was raped by my older cousin when i was 16 years old and i was staying over his house with his family and he molested me!. the first time he did this he convinced me to drink alcohol until i was drunk!. then it continued when i was sober the next 3 days about 3 times he raped me and 1 time he molested me!. I was a virgin before i stayed at his house!. About 8 months later from the incident I came out to my grandmother and mother about what happened!. My mother sent me to therapy because i kept having flashbacks!. I have to keep going to therapy until this day!. Then i tried to call his family and kind of feel them out to see if they somehow knew but i didnt say anything i just asked them how they were doing and i think they suspected something because they knew he had mental problems!. Then about a month later i get an email from him of a random prayer chain letter in a way to apologize maybe!? idk!. but i never contacted them again and i never will!. But today they called my grandmother to wish her a happy birthday and they asked how i was and i was sooooooo angry about it and i still am!. Why does my grandmother keep in contact with them!? I feel so betrayed!. I hate her now but i just pretend to be nice because she is old!. Its been over 3 years and i keep telling myself to reject the flashbacks and reject satan and to stay close to the lord!. please help me and give me support idk what to do!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try finding a sexual assault -rape - incest survivors support group in your area!. Maybe at a local womens center!. Trust me it is amazing to finally find yourself in a room full of people who really get it!. No masks!.!.!. no burdon!. Just facts and reality for you that you can be open about without worry!. Because they all know!. The stories differ the womens understanding does not!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
not to discourage you but i was also raped twice by a supposed "friend" about three years ago and have been seeing a therapist twice a week since it happened and i still have flash backs and i can go certain places because it reminds me of the guy , my therapist says that there is a chance i never get over my PTSD!. so i hope you well but not all of us get betterWww@Answer-Health@Com
