I feel empty and like i am stuck in quick sand and can't get out and move fo!

Question: I feel empty and like i am stuck in quick sand and can't get out and move forward !.!.!.!?
I am been feeling like this for many years now, and everything i do never seems to work, i have tried so many options from reading books, to advice and i still don't know how i can actually have a normal life and relationships, alot of the time i just want to hide away

I seem stuck in a rut, sometimes i don't feel normal, and like i have something missing from my personality, i so desparately want to be happier and more grateful for things, but there seems something in me which can't seem to just get on with my life and be happy!.!.!.

Are people born with their limitations / conditioning or can they actually change!? (ie people become addicting to things because they are unhappy even though they don't want to do bad things to themselves they can't help it)

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can embrace life and appreciate it more, rather than often i just seem to want to sleep and i know i am not doing anything and just wasting my life!.!.!.!. any suggestions i would be thankful, many thanks

Yes, sometimes people are born with limitations, and yes some people are born with a genetic predisposition to certain psychological characteristics!. But you can't use these things as an excuse!. Just as you may be born with some limitations, you are also born with the capabilities to overcome those limitations!. Your life is out of balance and you seem overwhelmed by your unhappiness!. It doesn't have to be that way!.

I can tell from your writing that you're intelligent and have spent a lot of time reflecting on your circumstances!. You already know what's needed to improve your situation!. So what are you waiting for!? Do you need someone to give you permission to make a plan of action!? Or are you looking for people to validate your inertia and malaise and support you in doing nothing!?

What's it going to be!? Are you going to take control and pull yourself out of your rut!? Or are you going to sit there and be miserable!? It's your choice!. The ball's in your court!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Accept yourself for what you are, first and foremost!. Know your own personality and find things that suit your needs!. There are no rules to life so just experiment and live it the way it makes you the most fulfilled!. Not everyone has to be bubbly and sociable!.

It sounds vague, I know, but there's a logic in there somewhere!. Without knowing any specific problems you might have, it's difficult to answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

do self analysis by using SWOT technique
SWOT stands for strength, weakness, opportunity and threats
be self confident
don't give up any thing for any matter

Pray!. I'll pray for you!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would start by seeing a therapist and working through some of your issues!. You may need antidepressants, but you may not need them for a long time or if ever!. Sometimes exercising really works!. Start by doing something nice for someone else!. Being needed makes people feel good!. Sometimes just completing something as simple as a page in a coloring book!.

People can change if they want to!.

The truth is our culture places happiness at the top,but doesn't really define what happiness is!. Honestly being happy( the state of it) all the time would be like living with Stepford wives all day!. You can't do it!. Thats just not life!.
You can be happy with the life you lead!.

One day at a time!. We are all learning on this world through our actions and how life sometimes gives us unpleasant things, but realize that its all just a learning process!.

I hope you find a way to get out of the rut you are in!. We've all been there!.

I'd say the best idea would be to see a counselor because they're going to be more experienced than anyone here- and they can give you a real insight into why you're feeling the way you're feeling and help you a lot!.
For now, I think if you're feeling disillusioned with your life then make a big change!. I know it sounds silly but taking up a new hobby, starting a new job, even getting a new hairstyle or cut or colour can give you a whole new outlook on things, and boost your self esteem!.

I went through a really bad rut this year, so I changed the things in my life that were keeping me down and I'm happy to say these days I'm so much happier and energetic!

I personally took up the piano!. I played as a child and wanted to start again!. It's been a really good coping method for me!

I hope some of this helps!. I don't believe anything is predestined for us, I think that if your life isn't going the way you want it to, it's up to you to change it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

honestly before i was diagnosed with depression I felt the same way!. The main thing that helped me was antidepressant meds!. I would oversleep, be late for work, take naps, and my home showed that I didn't care much about my looks, my house or even if i showered!. Antidepressant meds ease that down fatigued feeling!. You feel like its easier to smile, to get through each day!. Getting enough sleep is important but too much is kind of wasting your life!. You already spend 33% of your life sleeping!. why not try it for about 6 weeks!? There are generics avail!. Good luck to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
