ADHD, ADD, or Anxiety? Idk?!

Question: ADHD, ADD, or Anxiety!? Idk!?
I'm going to my general practioner to get a referral to a psychiatrist or something like that this week but I am freaking out and would like to know what you think I have, if I have anything!.Btw I am seventeen!.
1!.) In my find I feel like I am raping my thoughts!. I over think/over analyze everything to the point where people just tell me to stop thinking so much!.
2!.) I shake!. All the time!. Even at the dentist!. Because I am thinking and thinking and thinking!. I shake as a nervous habit or something!.
3!.)In school I can't learn anything from anyone!. I am always listening to music through one ear and imagining/thinking instead of learning!. I have to go home and use the textbook to teach it to myself later in peace and quiet!. But my grades are pretty good though!. I even got an 1800 on the SATS!.
3!.) I haven't gone to a store by myself since I was in the eight grade because I get so anxious!.
4!.) I can't do anything unless I plan it out perfectly the day before!.
5!.) Everyone eventually abandons me because I am too much to handle!.
I get so angry for such dumb things!. I am always trying to "ruin" peoples lives anyway I can!. I am suspisious of everyone and question people who are supposed to care about me's motives!. It really is affecting my life!. To the point where I just need some help, I guess!. Btw I don't cut myself!. I am not suicidal!. No eating disorders or anything else like that!.

Just racing thoughts, shaking, irrational fears, inability to focus and I am a very figdgity person who overly talks with their hands!.

I dont think I have ADD or ADHD but is that so commonplace that my GP will be able to help me!? I really don't want to have to go to a psychiatrist but I need relief!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
First, and most importantly, get the referral!. You have made the right choice in getting help, however, your GP will probably not be able to help you to the extent you need!. Most M!.D!.s are ignorant when it comes to AD/HD, and what good is a diagnoses of it if you have something else!?
Beyond that, it doesn't sound like AD/HD to me!. It may be anxiety, but it sounds more complicated than simple anxiety!. It's very possible that it is more than one thing; you may have elements of different things!. At this point, I wouldn't rule anything out!.
Whatever it is, with proper care, you can, and will get better!. I know it's hard, and I've been there, but the best thing you can do for yourself right now is to make use of your over-thinking and make a plan of what you're going to say to your GP!. If it is anxiety, being prepared is a good defense!.
I hope that helps!. Best of luck to you, and feel free to contact meWww@Answer-Health@Com

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.

The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to!.!.!.!.

Please don't use any herbs until you see a psychiatrist!. Only he/she can diagnose you, but don't rule out Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder!. An often overlooked symptom of OCD is perseveration on thoughts!. It sounds like your thoughts are making you anxious!. What the psych will probably do is prescribe you a mild SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor)!. Paxil is good for depression and OCD tendencies, while something like Prozac or lexapro work well with anxiety ( although increased anxiety is a common side effect that goes away in a few weeks) and depression!. It sounds more like anxiety!. Before getting a prescription medicine I would suggest trying St!. John's Wort or Valerian Root!. They are herbs and you can get them at your pharmacy!.

I have anxiety, it sucks big time!!! Because of anxiety in my life it triggers other things!. I can't eat out with people because I get too anxious and then it causes IBS!.

Try those two things (do NOT take them together)!. The St!. John's Wort has helped me A LOT!. Also, try taking deep breaths when you feel that you are getting anxious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
